Vivian Maier & Other B&W Prints

Vivian Maier was an American street photographer who, while working as a nanny, took more than 150,000 balck and white photographic scenes of Chicago and New York in a personal project that spanned many decades. She left behind a legacy of incredible pictures, which lay undiscovered until her death.
Lip International bought the original negative of this print from John Maloof in 2009. We were then contacted by art historian Pamela Bannos who confirmed that the negative was a genuine Vivian Maier image.
The image has been digitally restored from the original negative and digitally printed on high quality 220gsm silk paper to allow this Vivian Maier print to be enjoyed by discerning art lovers at an affordable price.
We do not hold stocks of these prints, they are printed to order and supply is therefore carefully regulated.
